Josh Hobbs - Guest Choreographer

Josh Hobbs was born in Richmond Kentucky and began studying dance around the age of nine. Throughout middle school and high school, he attended EGAT (education gifted and talented) where he studied ballroom, modern, Lyrical and Contemporary. While in high school Josh also was a cheerleader and a member of the colorguard. After graduating from high school, Josh Hobbs attended Eastern Kentucky University. While at EKU, Josh was a member of the Eastern Kentucky University Dance Theatre. He was vice President of the company for three years and cheered for the EKU Colonels for four years. He also was a member colorguard for the Marching Colonel’s for three years.

 

Currently, Josh lives in Aiken SC and works for Clemson University’s Youth Learning Institute. 

 

Josh’s vast array of dance skills are a huge asset to our studio. He works with Miss Morgan with our Performing and Competition Dance Companies as well as teaches his own "Hobbs Class".
